Learn to sail a catamaran in the ideal location! Here, the water is protected from surf, high waves and heavy currents. Our steady wind and calm seas create ideal sailing conditions. Sail on the leeward side of the island to get within sight of the Cape Florida Lighthouse on the southernmost point of Key Biscayne.

During this 4 hour package, we will teach you how to sail a catamaran with one sail as well as a catamaran with two sails. By the end of the lesson, we guarantee you will be able to sail by yourself.

A: No. The moment you use your Philadelphia Pass it becomes activated. Once activated, the card counts down its internal clock for however long the cards life is-1, 2, 3, or 5 days.

Q: Do I have to use a multiple day Philadelphia Pass on consecutive days or can I pick and choose which days I would like to use it?
A: If you purchase a 3 day Philadelphia Pass on Monday, use it Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (skipping Wednesday), your card will be invalid on Thursday. The Yosemite Park Hotel Tour begins with a complimentary pick-up from your San Francisco accommodations. After a scenic drive through the coastal mountains and the Central Valley, we arrive at Yosemite. Once in Yosemite, your guide will give you a 1 1/2 hour narrated tour of Yosemite Valley and surrounding areas.

Yosemite Valley is approximately 1 mile (1.5 km) wide and 7 miles (10 km) long. During this part of the tour, we make numerous stops for you to enjoy, photograph and appreciate the spectacular beauty that is Yosemite. You will see the valley from a number of great vantage points, the best of which is perhaps Inspiration Point at 4,500 feet above sea level. Yosemite is a mecca for rock climbers, and the sight of people climbing El Capitan's 3,000 ft (1 km) sheer rock face is quite amazing (seasonal).

The High Country of Yosemite ranges from 8,000 ft. to the peak of Mt. Lyle, which is over 13,000 ft. tall! From Glacier Point (seasonal), you can get a bird’s-eye view of the valley from 3,000 ft above. In addition to the spectacular views, you can take a hike to the top of Sentinel Dome or Taft Point. On one of the two days, you will have the opportunity to hike amongst the giant sequoias, the largest living things on the planet. This plant species is found in one area of the world only, the western slope of the Sierra Nevada mountains.

We stay at Cedar Lodge, which is situated in the picturesque Merced River canyon. Because your quide stays at the same hotel, we can offer you a truly guided tour. Yosemite Park 3 Day Camping Tour Sightseeing Tickets, Incredible Adventures, San Francisco

Three days of hiking and camping is the focus of our Yosemite Escape Camping Tour.

Day 1
In the morning of the first day, our guide will meet you downtown at the corner of Mason and O'Farrell Streets in front of the Hilton Hotel at 8:15 am. Once out of San Francisco, we stop to purchase fresh food for our time in the park. Once we have all of our provisions we will cross the Central Valley and through gold country on our way into the mountains. Before reaching Yosemite, we hike down for a picnic amongst the giant sequoias - the largest living things on earth. The hike through the Giant Sequoias is pleasantly shaded and brings you right up close to these massive wooden monuments, some of which are over one thousand years old and measure up to 30 ft. wide & 300 ft. tall. Continuing into the park on a 1 1/2 hour guided tour, we descend into Yosemite Valley, the most famous and picturesque part of Yosemite, with some of the world's tallest waterfalls and incredible vistas made famous by the photographer Ansel Adams. While in the valley, your guide will give you an orientation to the park as well as an explanation of the itinerary and options for the next two days. After some free time in Yosemite Valley, you will head for the campsite to set up the tents and cook a delicious meal, ending the day with some drinks around the campfire as you decide what to do with your next two days in the park.

Day 2
Rising early, we prepare breakfast and lunch, clean up camp, and head off in the van for a fun day full of hiking, sightseeing, and exploring. Usually the second day is reserved for exploring Yosemite's High Country. A group hike to May Lake and Mount Hoffman is the highlight of this day (depending upon snowpack). May Lake is a picturesque example of a High Sierra Lake. If you want more of a challenge, you can continue past May Lake to Mount Hoffman. Located at the geographic center of the park, Mount Hoffman is a non-technical hike that rewards you with a 360-degree view of the surrounding mountain landscape. At the end of the day we head back to camp for dinner and time to unwind by the campfire.

Day 3
Day three is a free day, where the itinerary is based on the interests of the group. Normally we head into Yosemite Valley, where you can choose one of a number of great hikes, rent a bike, or relax in the shade by the emerald green Merced River. After a full day in the park, we head back to San Francisco, arriving around 9pm.

In May, June and early July, you have the option of joining a whitewater rafting trip on the Merced River (depending on snowpack). This Class III-IV adventure can be added to your Yosemite Escape Adventure for only an additional $140-160.

Camping
Camping is easy, but cooperation is important. Don't worry if you've never camped before; many people haven't. We supply the camping and cooking equipment necessary for a trip of this nature, using quality tents, camping and cooking equipment (you will need a sleeping bag). Everybody is expected to participate in the set-up and breakdown of camp, and our professional guides are there to ensure a positive camping experience. We camp at comfortable campsites that have hot showers and modern facilities. Swimming is available nearby.

Food
We provide the food, but not the chefs. You guys are the cooks, waiters, dishwashers, and of course the guests. After leaving the city, we stop at a supermarket and buy everything we need. The fare is all-you-can-eat and very tasty, and is a mixture of chicken, beef and vegetarian. Most people eat better with us than they do on the rest of their travels.

Transportation
We use comfortable 15-passenger vans with dual air conditioning and stereo sound. Our vans are fueled by biodiesel, a vegetable oil-based diesel fuel, to promote green business. All of our vans have large roof racks for your luggage and the camping equipment.

Meeting Location and Time
Our guide will meet the group at 8:15 am at the corner of Mason and O'Farrell Streets in front of the Hilton Hotel. There are many bus lines that run directly by or near this central location. The closest BART and MUNI stop is the Powell Street Station (2 blocks away).

Sleeping Bags
You will need a sleeping bag. If you don't have one, we will rent one to you for $20 USD for the two nights.

You will need sneakers or hiking boots, shorts, t-shirts, swimwear, sun protection, a water bottle, flashlight, and some warmer clothes in case there is a change in weather.

Weather
June through September in Yosemite is hot and sunny with occasional afternoon showers. May and October days are warm with cooler nights. As in all mountain environments, weather can be unpredictable, so bringing a layer of warm clothing is a good idea.

The day begins with a pick-up from your lodging between 6 and 7 am and heading east across the Bay Bridge offering great views of San Francisco Bay, the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island and Fisherman's Wharf.

We stop for a quick breakfast in the Central Valley. Famous for its rich volcanic soil, the Central Valley is a booming agricultural region known for almonds, grapes, tomatoes, peaches and strawberries. After breakfast we continue our journey up through the cattle and horse ranching foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains to the American River.

The Class III whitewater action begins immediately with Meatgrinder rapids, followed by other exciting cascades including Racehorse Bend, Rock Garden, Triple Threat and climaxed by a mad dash through the famed Troublemaker rapid. Our trip ends as we pull ashore back at camp where your guides prepare a tasty barbeque lunch.

After lunch, there is time to play some beach volleyball and relax by the river. We think it's important to get a real feel of the Gold Country, so we will take to you to a local winery to taste some liquid gold. The tour ends back at your hotel between 6:00 and 6:30 pm.

Your hands are on the wheel, your foot is on the gas, and you’re in the driver’s seat for 8 laps around the speedway in a 358 cubic inch V-8 NASCAR style stock car that roars with 600 horsepower. Prior to driving, students will go through two elements of safety and instruction training, in-car and on-track instruction. After driving like the “King,” students will receive a graduation packet that includes a time sheet with a breakdown of each lap driven. Participants can expect speeds up to 134 mph (based on driver ability). In addition to the Rookie Experience, you will receive round-trip transportation (included from two convenient pick up locations on the Las Vegas strip), an overview of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and a tour of the Richard Petty Driving Experience Race Shop. The 25,000-square-foot exhibit features numerous items from the Titanic, including luggage, the ship's whistles, floor tiles from the first-class smoking room, a window frame from the Verandah Cafe and an unopened bottle of champagne with a 1900 vintage. In addition, the exhibit features a piece of Titanic’s hull, a full-scale re-creation of the Grand Staircase as well as a newly expanded outer Promenade Deck, complete with the frigid temperatures felt on that fateful April night.
These actual artifacts, recovered from two and one half miles below the surface of the North Atlantic, tell the story behind the legendary Titanic’s short journey from construction and destruction to eventual recovery. Walk her decks, peer into her cabins and meet her passengers and crew.

Described as a floating palace, the incomparable Titanic was deemed "practically unsinkable" by the White Star Line and its builders. However, on a calm April night in 1912, the massive luxury liner struck an iceberg and slowly sank into the North Atlantic. Since then, many items from the wreckage have been recovered and added to Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition.

The personal artifacts on display offer haunting, emotional connections to the forever-altered lives of those on board the Titanic. Visitors even have a chance to walk through authentically re-created first- and third-class rooms, with furnishings by original manufacturers.
