Horrid Henry, one of the most popular characters in children's fiction, comes to the West End this Christmas with a live stage show appropriately titled Horrid Henry - Live And Horrid!
Along with his long-suffering parents, his smelly-nappied baby brother, Peter Perfect and the rest of the gang, Horrid Henry's war on grown ups, rules and all things boring is recreated through original music, song and dance in this funny and fast moving family show.
Since 1993, when Francesca Simon's first Horrid Henry book was published, the series has sold over 12 million copies in the UK and has been published in 27 countries worldwide. The latest book in the series, Horrid Henry Robs The Bank, was published in June 2008. The stories have also been made into an animated television series on CITV.
Horrid Henry's adventures have been adapted for the stage by John Godber, Artistic Director of Hull Truck Theatre Company whose many plays include Blood, Sweat And Tears, Teechers, the Laurence Olivier Award-winning Up 'N' Under and Bouncers.

Tickets to this year's Wimbledon pantomime.
Cinderella is the story of a young woman living with her stepmother, and two very mean stepsisters. She works as a servant for them cooking, cleaning, and catering to their every need.
When the Prince of the land sends out invitations to all of the villagers to attend a ball held in his honour, Cinderella begs to go but her stepmother will not allow her.
The night of the ball arrives, and the three women laugh as they prepare for the party, and make their way to the festivities, leaving Cinders to clean up after them. Once they are gone, Cinderella quietly weeps wishing she could attend. At that moment her Fairy Godmother appears, and uses her magic to grant Cinderella’s wish, creating for her a beautiful gown, matching glass slippers, and turns a pumpkin into a carriage to take her to the ball. The Fairy Godmother has one condition, that the spell will only last until midnight…
This all new glittering production of Cinderella features spectacular sets, sparkling costumes and bags of audience participation! Get ready for the ultimate fairytale of all time.

We cross the River Forth and head through Perthshire known as the Heart of Scotland, over Glenshee the Skiing capital of Scotland surrounded by Wild deer and Pheasant and down into Royal Deeside. The festivities are fit for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the First of Scotland.
While there have been Gatherings of one sort or another at Braemar since the days of King Malcolm Canmore, nine hundred years ago, the Gathering as we know it has been organized by the Braemar Royal Highland Society for only 187 years. But during much of that time large crowds have come each year to acclaim their Monarch as Chieftain of the Braemar Gathering. Every Gathering is a memorable occasion. International athletes will be among those taking part in the "heavy" and "track" events. Pipers and dancers will be of the usual high standard while teams from H.M. Forces will compete in the Inter-Services Unit Tug of War Championship and in the Services Medley Relay Race.
A Hill Race will again be run up Morrone. Scottish Pipe Bands will be to the fore with the customary Massed Pipe Bands appearing.
Meals, snacks and light refreshments are available at the Gathering.
Various members of the Royal Family including H.R.H. Queen Elizabeth the first of Scotland will be in attendance.
